2024 was a wild ride!
So many things happened this year! SmallStack was born in May, our community grew from just an idea into a brilliant creative collective, and our Library launched with over 400 entries. We hosted a phenomenal series of Guest Posts, started a regular SmallTalk sesh for fun and connections, and we now publish a new Featured Post every Friday.
If you haven’t visited the SmallStack Library in a while, head over and check out all of the newest publications listed! We currently host over 1400 listings with more to come soon.
SmallStack is proof that dreams are powerful things. Without a dream, we would not be here.
The beginning is now
2025 is full of opportunities. Tell us what hopes and dreams you’re bringing with you!
Are you starting something new? A project? A new publication?
Will you be traveling or jumping into education for yourself?
Is this the year you’re dedicating to rest more?
What brings you hope? Or inspiration?
We’ll keep comments open through Friday, January 3.
SmallTalk is here for you! This is your space to build relationships, share your thoughts, and grow together. A few reminders to help you get the most out of this space:
Sharing is caring! Unless otherwise stated, you are always welcome to include a link to a post—by you or someone you admire—to help others find great resources or information. Whether you wrote it or love it, we want to see it!
Leave a note. Original comments to the thread can also be shared as a note if you click on the little box at the lower left.
Make new friends. This is a place where beautiful collaborations are born. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, celebrate each others’ wins, and reach out to people you’d like to collaborate with. We’re all supporting each other here.

Last year my big dream was to start a Substack. I accomplished that! Now I want to be on a guest on a Podcast. We'll see how that goes!
In the coming year, I hope to be kinder to myself. Instead of diminishing myself by frequently saying "I'm sorry" for things that don't require an apology, I hope to make an internal shift and replace those words with "Thank you" to share and spread some much-needed grace.
I dream of growing into a more resilient and capable version of myself. Despite the challenges posed by chronic and disabling health conditions, I aspire to cultivate strength that empowers me to pursue my goals with determination and confidence while celebrating small victories.
