Thanks for adding my publication there and also for making it easy to find others around similar topics! I started to think that I was kind of alone in that space.
There might be something wrong with the Neurodiversity category though. I'm clicking on it and seeing 0 results. (I know there should be at least one - mine - and last time I checked the Library there were plenty of others.)
Funny story, I had to narrow most listings down to a single category, which means I used a math formula to make it happen. Your current category might not be the best fit for you, in which case you should submit the form to update your listing.
Actually I'd been under the impression stacks would go into more than one category if it applied to them. My current category is fine, art is my top focus. It's just sad to see Neurodiversity empty because I'd be interested in a catalog of stacks related to it.
So I’m wondering: is 200 the new 1000? I consider mine a “small” Substack but somehow I’ve crept up to 1300 subscribers without even trying. It makes me wonder, does Substack’s vaunted “network effect” mean that as more people come to the platform and subscribe willy-nilly, will you need to change your criteria for entry? (This is not a plea to let me in or allow me to stay in.)
50 is the new 30, so... Why not?? There will always be newer or smaller publications with fewer than 1000 subscribers, which means SmallStack will always be relevant exactly as it is.
But you should definitely keep an eye out for our super cool Alumni Library coming soon!
Great to hear your library has reopened, that is perfect timing for me as you were recently recommended to me by Beth Kempton. I'm new to Substack so I appreciate the listing, thank you ❤️
I put my category down as "Culture and Society" because there's no Humor category listed. Humor is my primary category on Substack, so just not sure exactly where I fit into.
This is a brilliant idea, I've submitted my stack to the library and now have a resource where I can find plenty of new content to digest!
Thank you.
It's so refreshing to find real support for small Substackers struggling to build an audience. Thank you!
It's done!!! :)
What an amazing project - thank you for the continued effort to share us small stacks!
Thank you so much for the continued work you have put into this! Not only getting the list up and running but continued encouragement and support.

Done! Thank you!!
So fun to be part of this - thank you! ☺️
How do I apply? It was probably in the text. Consider this comment my reminder to me to apply later
This post has its own button which takes you to the form, or you can click on the link at the top of the library.
Exciting to see my Substack in there now!

Agreed, but I think we will get a few updates and new listings that will start to fill that category over the next few weeks.
Thank you for all your hard work in doing this! Fantastic!

Wowee zowee look at what y'all did! Thank you for the hard work, creativity, and love that went into this! <3

Thank you for re-opening it though!
Would there be any culture without humor??
