This is great Robin! I'd bounced in and out of the seminar so having the top points listed like this is super helpful!! Thank you! Still digesting it all!!

Very helpful. The thing that terrifies me are people being mean online (which feels different than being critical!), I appreciate the resources and words about that.

Yeah it’s a bit like if you ran a cafe and someone bounced in and out because they changed their mind. Really nothing to do with you or your lovely coffee. ✨🙏

This is SUCH a great roundup of highlights. I wasn't able to participate in the live chat, so I'm especially grateful for this summary of all the drops of wisdom that were shared.

Thank you, Robin, other Robin, Sue-Jan, Nospheratt, Cheshir, Elle, Erin, another Erin, Elizabeth, LC, and Rose! This is a wonderful list of tips and recap of your chat with Claire and Russell. Thanks for putting it together and sending it out. 'Saving' so I can read every one of those links you included!

This was such an awesome chat - I learned so much and found a few new folks to connect with too! Big thanks to Claire & Russell for all their help.
I wanted to share a lightbulb moment I got from Russell - just in case it’s useful for anyone else.
I had mentioned that I worked “really hard” on my “About” page - but I wasn’t sure it was serving my publication.
Turns out - it should be more about the publication & what journey it will take readers on - and less about me! Maybe that’s obvious to everyone but it was a giant “aha!” moment for me.
Since then I’ve been scouring all kinds of “About” pages to see which ones speak to me - and let me say folks are super creative and inviting! Many of the pages made me instantly want to subscribe - and I can see how mine doesn’t quite do that (yet).
I’m tweaking and updating and really excited about where my whole publication is heading - and SmallStack have been an integral part of the journey!

Thanks Dizzy! I try to remind myself that when people are mean online, it means something is going on with them, not me.
It’s true
